Ann Martella, PAC

Ann grew up in the small town of Green Valley, approximately 20 miles northeast of the Santa Clarita Valley in the Angeles National Forest. She earned a Bachelor's of Arts degree from the University of California, Irvine and a Master's degree of Science in Physician Assistant studies from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA.
After graduating with her BA at UC Irvine she moved to London, England for two years where she worked as a costume designer on films and theater. Upon her return to the United States she decided to return to her passion of medicine by working as an EMT and volunteering at LAC+USC County Hospital and Huntington Hospitals. These experiences gave her the opportunity to work side by side with many Physician Assistants, and prompted her to join the medical community as a Physician Assistant after completing her studies at Western University. She has developed a love and interest in Family Practice, Women's Health and Urgent Care. She stays connected with her alma mater by volunteering as an assistant to staff and a proctor to first year students.
Ann is a member of California Academy of Physician Assistants and American Academy of Physician Assistants. She loves to be outside, whether it is running, hiking, playing tennis, practicing yoga or taking walks with her dog. She is very happy to have the opportunity to work with the wonderful staff at The Doctors' Office of Santa Clarita Valley.
